Technical Assistance Workshops

These workshops are designed to assist applicants with specific questions regarding their school proposal and their application. This is not a general grantwriting workshop. Please come prepared with your application draft materials and issues and questions specific to your proposal. Please rsvp to RFP-2009@dpsk12.org if you would like to attend.

New School Setup Workshops

These workshops will be offered to new schools, post-approval, to assist with the setup of their school.

Topics may include:

• Engendering a distinct school culture
• Legal and compliance issues
• How to successfully share facility space
• Encouraging family and community involvement
• Physical set-up of a new school
• Creating a positive environment for teachers
